Finally taken the plunge and ordered the phone from here:

Its a bit late but paid extra for next day delivery in the hope it will show up tomorrow

No idea if it will arrive tommorrow but my all time epic delivery story is as follows .. in 2000 I was working in the US in California and before returning decided to buy a laptop. Best price I found was from a company on the East Coast. Dithered for a bit whether to buy or not but decided to buy and got order in at 8:55pm pacific time = 11:55pm east coast time - company claimed a "order by midnight for next day delivery". Didn't really believe this and as it was a friday assumed next day would be monday and realistically I was looking at tuesday. Imagine the amazement when we came back from shopping onsaturday morning to find a card saying a package had been delivered next door for me at 11:30am! Looked into the delivery and turned out the company had a warehouse co-located with fedex in  Indiana so as soon as my order had come in it had been picked and put straight on a place to Oakland and from there onto a a van to deliver to me in Cupertino ... now thats what I call delivery!

Sent them an email after ordering and was dispatched today for delivery tomorrow

If it turns up that will be amazing service!

Can't wait to get stuck in, going to see if I can port a Gingerbread Style Theme or get the original creator to help (if he wants to/has the time)

I'm still waiting for mine from the carphone warehouse.
I got the "thanks for the order we're taking your money" over a week ago
If yours turns up ok I'll cancel my order and try from the Modaco approved distributer

Didn't turn up today so emailed them. Apparently the courior couldn't find my place so its being delivered to my work tomorrow.

I am considering to get this phone as an upgrade from blade. but wife wants me to get a proper phone (i.e. galaxy S II) instead... she doesn't want me keep buying cheap Chinese phones and upgrade every 10 month... (pulse > blade > Ideos X5)

Anyone think the Galaxy S II will last over 18 month?

Mine came today! Still at work so can't play till later tonight (about 8)

Once Updated, Rooted and ClockworkMod Installed I will post my thoughts on the device
