I need to take my phone back tomorrow as its not fit for purpose.

The only way I can see to uninstall clockworkmod is to do a nvflash.

nvflash doesnt work:

C:\Drop\temp>flash

C:\Drop\temp>.\nvflash.exe --bct E1108_Hynix_512MB_H8TBR00U0MLR-0DM_300MHz_final

_emmc_x8.bct --setbct --odmdata 0xC8000 --configfile android_fastboot_emmc_full.

cfg --create --bl fastboot.bin --go

Nvflash started

rcm version 0X20001

Tried a smartflash? Use the smartflash from the baseband-thread and download a ROM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041, preferably the one your device originally had. Look at the last post on page 3 in that same thread for instructions. Can't promise it will work, but it's worth a shot.
