Dear Burstlam,
I am new to Android and have the Chinese Unicom Version of Blade. Exeuse for this, but I need your advice & help in identifying the correct steps to load CM7 into my device (CM7 Green V5 for Blade Gen 2), backup existing data and flash the CM7 Rom without bricking my device.

Appreciate your help.  Thanks

simlply u may follow this guide. except that after root ,  get adb function unlock with the engineer code in 4th post in this thread.

I don't know what do u mean by backup existing data.  simply use titanium backup for specific item. or use backup option in Recovery mode.

if u want to restore to pre root option , simply go to this post and download the official update of China unicom.

FYI, don't use any of the partition mod/ firmware upgrade on your unicom Blade.
for they are not identical with V880 and it will brick ur phone

to prepare the machine ready for flashing the rom:

1. root your machine with kk modified verion "Z4root"

2. then unlock the adb functions of u-880 :
use the dialer to and enter engineer code : *983*87274#
u will access the usb switch test
press "All functions", grant the permission right as required

3. finally, may use KKs ' One click recovery V2 to  install clockworkmod recovery

then u might flash cm7 with clockworkmod recovery

all the tools u need could be found in this forum.

hi burstlam,

what you mean with "finally, may use KKs ' One click recovery V2 to install clockworkmod recovery"???
where i find the "KKs ' One click recovery V2" and the "clockworkmod recovery"???
tnx
daniele

Now i've installed cyanogen mod7.
When i reboot my phone, compares the android icon on a skateboard in a circle arrow and the cyanogen(mod)7 signature, but nothing happens. this never stops. help me!!! please.
