First, I want to thank you all the dev for their hard working for the liquid community. There are lots of resource for the user like me.
Sine there are lots of custom rom out, I want to put the all the link here for user who can easily access what they want.

Moreover, new update and new rom come out from time to time, i would like to update here as well.

if you think this is good idea, please support to put the post to the top. Stick on the top of the forum.


Anyone can help to point out which ROM is optimize for liquid E?

Hey! Niiice going dude, i got an A1 last week and have since being exploring this forum and getting lost over and over again. I was looking for a fully working gingerbread ROM but alas i'll have to forget that for a while...

Now u have made my job easy to find a fully working froyo.

First I want to say thank you for this collection!

Just to be sure, is it perfectly safe to flash 2.2 roms from this topic to my Liquid E that came stock with 2.2, using this guide?
I'm all about battery life, so I'm guessing this one is this one is the best choice: CDTeam FroYoMetal V3.0 FINAL [28/03/2011] ?
Or are there any 2.3 roms you can recommend me?

To flash the custom rom, it is better to use related bin version not just 2.2, you can see there is the firmware under setting, about.  but if you use different version, it is okay, but may not optimize.  for example, the rom may only recognize 256mb ram in terms of 512.

For now, i think the froyo mental is quite good. i am looking forward to seeing the new version about Dolby fix too.
and i don't suggest 2.3 rom if you need stable and all hardware working with good battery life.

actually, LSteam is working to fix many problem right now. i think it is better to wait.

i will say most. because i don't really classify it. but far from i know, if you flash the rom that is not design for liquid E, the problem is that the rom only recognize 256mb ram in term of 512mb. there should be not harm for your device.

great. hope you enjoy the new rom and i would say LSteam already upload his CM7 version. I think it is worth to try. just use 2.2 bin is okay.

yes. it should only show 256mb ram. but when u flash the rom that support liquid E, it will show 512mb. don't worry.

I have an Acer Liquid with  android version 2.2.2 , bande base version A1-05.01.07 core version 2.6.29 and build number Acer_LiquidE_4.004.12_PA_FIDO.

I want to ask you that I can install a custom Rom and my phone still work with no problem in desimLock because i purchased it at fido. and wich custom rom i need to use.
