I get back my streak with froyo 2.2. After official update to 2.2.2 my baseband changed. I did factory reset but it didnt help at all. How come update could change baseband? Phone is not rooted and I cant get rid off crap apps which I dont use but they preinstalled with 2.2.2 update. Looking for stable build and thinking about streakdroid 1.9 or 2.0. Need some help with rooting and installing this to. Please help.me sort out mu strek. Install streakdroid 1.9 :D Streakdroid 2.0.0 is still buggy and slow atm. Simple step by step: Download Streakdroid 1.9.0 and place on your SD card (Don't unzip, leave it as a .zip) http://android.modaco.com/content/dell-str...t/#entry1642326 Create an "install.txt" file (Noptepad) and fill with the options you would like (Note if you are unsure about what some options do don't enter them and the defaults will be used) Download "StreakMod recovery": http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840326 Follow the steps to install in the thread above. You may need Dell streak fastboot drivers (Google will help you find the ones for your OS version) Enter recovery (When device is off: Vol up + Vol down + Power, hold until entering Dell recovery then select the 2nd option) Press the dower button when presented with the dell logo with the danger mark ! to unhide the recovery options Select the "Flash update.zip, select "flash any zip" then select the StreakDroid update Wait for it to complete, reboot the device and hold Vol up + Vol down (Important to get back into recovery on first boot. In quadrant on offcial i had 880 score now i have 1440 :D. Question about going back to offcial or future streakdroid 2.0 will be without problem? And what if something will happen with my streak and im gonna send it to dell with streakdroid its mean it will void warranty? You can easily flash the default recovery (Fastboot) then install an official Dell update to bring the device back to completely stock 2.2.2 As for the market. It should auto-update silently in the background to the latest version some time later (Could be hours, days, weeks..
