Guest McSpoon Posted June 10, 2011 Report Share Posted June 10, 2011 It looks like Huawei have an Android 2.3 device called the C8800 with a 480x800 screen resolution. So possibly a Gingerbread version of the U8800. They published the following C8800 UA-Profile specification back in February and it definitely lists Android 2.3 as the operating system. http://wap1.huawei.com/uaprof/HW_HUAWEI_C8800_1_20110222.xml I haven't seen any sign of the C8800 firmware yet but it might be worth keeping a lookout for it.
