Guest totiadrenalin Posted June 10, 2011 Report Share Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) I took the pulse from (Dalibor) ,the guy who bought the Pulse from me, only for few hours and made nandroid backup and unyaffs the system image. Rebuild the Rom once again. And test it onto the phone. Everithing is working now. I mistake the boot image to. So replace the boot.img to So, now guys I'm uploading the rom on dropbox. Here's the Updated rom. the link Uploaded! It will fit in the new 2.1 uk update system partition! I don't know what more to tell you! I already returned the phone back to the owner. That's all from me folks! Tworck you can take it from now on. If you like of course! My last custom rom for pulse : My_last_used_custom_rom-2.1.zip - Updated EDIT: Now the update-script will format the data by it self. I really can't understand why people still saying they can not install this rom. When I have test it and working! I test this rom over another Pulse phone yesterday. And I was able to install it with none of the problems you mention. That pulse had the 2.1 uk 2011 Updata.APP Give it one more try on this rom. But, Toti, even after repackaging it to zip format, it has an installation error: E:Can't chown/mod /system/xbin/dropbear (No such file or directory) E:Failure at line 359: set_perm 0 0 04755 SYSTEM:xbin/dropbear Installation aborted. For the record, I'm trying to install it on the CHT8000 partitions, which have an even larger /system partition than the HU rom. And moving a few of the larger "unnecessary" apps (DocsToGo, etc.) out of /system will get this rom down to the size for the new UK rom. But someone else can do that easily if you don't want to. I'll look forward to your update tomorrow. Thanks. Edit: I have it running after some minor editing of the update script. However, looks like the wifi is not working either. Edit2: Similar to previous 2.1 roms, I created a /system/etc/wifi directory, and copied /system/cust/hw/default/wpa_supplicant.conf file into /system/etc/wifi/. Then I commented out the line in the update script that referenced that. YMMV, but that worked for me. Edit3: A2SD not working either. Missing the mount point /system/sd. Unless you know how to rework the download yourself, no, you can't install a .rar compressed file. Don't bother to download it unless you know how to work with it. I already did repack it, installed it, and pointed out some of the installation and other problems. (It's called testing and feedback.) Toti already said he will try to fix the problems and repack it for us. SO, HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE! In the mean time, if you have the skills to work on it and give him some feedback, please do so. If not, just sit patiently and WAIT. Incidentally, the camera will work fine in all 2.1 roms, unless the dev does something bad to screw it up. I Made a bit changes in the update-script Also i move some apps from /system/app/ to /data/app/ but still can not reduce the size of /system/ I can not test this rom since I don't have pulse anymore. And I can't wait for Friday to come. That's the day when I'll buy my new phone! Please wait for some minutes to upload the rom.
