Hello guys,

I have gingerounay installed, but i need to send my ACER S120 to warranty, should i install original ROM again? How to do?

Thanks for the great ROM.

I am having issue with WIFI from sleep mode. I have set WIFI to turn off in 15 mins but when I unlocked the phone it would not reconnect by itself I have to turn off WIFI and turn it back on to get it to work again.

Is there a fix for it?

Yes go back to stock rom or ACER may charge you over £70 its a software issue.

i have installed gingerounay 3.0 but the phone hangs at the animated gif at boot.


edit: i unplugged the MT from the pc and it is now working

I can't get this to work, it hangs at the Acer logo. Left it for 20 mins. Any ideas?

I have the same issue with Wifi.

I selected Gingerounay-3.0.zip and get following msgs after I confirmed Install from sdcard

Finding update package
Opening update package
Veryfying update package
E:Worng digest: system/lib/libvoAMRBWDec.so
E: Verification failed  

Installation aborted.

Not entirely sure, but I think turning off signature verification in recovery mode might fix it. I'm a noob, so I might be wrong. But it's worth a try!

Ok, it seems the problem was that I used Recovery 2.2.

Now I installed Gingerrounay 3.0, but how do I install the update to 3.0.1.? Also via Recovery Mode 'install zip from sdcard'?

Update: File was corrupted, working fine now

I'm using this GREAT rom but I have a small problem: during a phone call, the person on the other side can hear his/her voice. Is there any possibility to decrease the microphone volume?

I had this problem and found it was down to the gel case I was using, removed case problem solved !!
