I have put together a few splash screens.

Just download/copy your chosen ZIP to your SD card and  install using Clockworkmod Recovery.
(install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard)

Please let me know if any need tweaking or improving.

Heres something a little more fun. Currently only a splash screen, but I am experimenting with this idea as a custom bootanimation.

If I dont like a splash screen could I just restore "boot" from my nandroid backup and have it return to how it was?

Its much easier just to flash the stock one back over the top (found in the stickied thread)

It took a while for me to find this thread - such an easy way to reset or install a splash screen after installing a new rom.
