"OMG IT'S THE LEAF ROM!"

It's either you're excited, scared or have no idea about it.

This is a ROM based on SE's official firmware (2.1.A.0.435 / 2.1 Eclair). Since I haven't seen any other ROMs like this (there are but they are heavily customized and themed), I might as well make one (like I did with the Wildfire).

The main purpose of this ROM is to remove every unnecessary stuff and make it as bare as possible while retaining core functions to maximize speed and reduce memory usage.

This results in a stable and a very snappy ROM (and I mean it, you'll be surprised).

ROM Breakdown

  • Based on 2.1.A.0.435
  • Rooted
  • FreeKernel 3.60 - link
  • BusyBox
  • xRecovery 0.3 - link
  • Link2SD - link
  • OI File Manager - link
  • Supports baseband 2.1.54 (recommended) and above
  • BIOS-style bootanimation - link
  • Mediascape and Timescape intact
  • Superfast and stable
  • DalvikVM slightly tweaked
  • ~37 MFLOPS in Linpack

Reserved for guide to set up Link2SD. Post will be updated later.

In the meanwhile, you can either figure it out yourself or not use it.

sorry to ask but what's the feature that we should use this ROM..??

There's nothing really special about this ROM, just a modification of the stock ROM since it's too slow and sluggish.

It's also if you like a speedy and a feature complete ROM (like a fully working camera etc.).

Maybe you can add in the XperiaReboot option apps into your ROM..since you don have the reboot option...

Sorry, I won't include it. You can turn it off and turn it back on.

The 2.1.A.0.435 firmware comes with the 2.1.54 baseband. Your screen shot shows 2.1.67 baseband. Did you flash 2.1.A.0.435 and then 2.1.67 baseband? I ask because I'm currently on 2.1.B.0.1 with 2.1.67 baseband.

I'll see what I can do, but I definitely won't put an app just for rebooting.

can´t remember the exact name file but just grab one (xml i think) from framework-res and it will have that option

Compression while archiving. Certain compression algortihms do work in xRecovery.

Already done it, check out r2.
