Guest pirh Posted July 17, 2011 Report Share Posted July 17, 2011 IDEOS X3 flash mode: swap out battery re-insert it, then press Vol Up+Vol Down+Power This puts your phone in what seems to be Huawei's flash mode (pink screen). In the X5 (U8800) this mode would give you direct access to all of the partitions stored in the phone's ROM. In this case it is not recognized by Linux at all.. seems like perhaps there is no flash controller that controls access to the different partitions. Perhaps a driver is needed ?
