All that was necessary was adding

BOARD_LDPI_RECOVERY := true

to

CM7/device/huawei/ascend/BoardConfig.mk

(To get the resolution correct)

. build/env_setup.sh
choosecombo

1. (Device)

1. (release)

full_ascend

eng

make recoveryimage

I need to work out how to flick from the cdrom emulation to usb storage as well.

Flash it with fastboot (Read the stickied post).

Only use it if the rom you want is using an updater-script not update-script

tbh I think we would be better off with a newer version of ra recovery (Because it supports both types of scripting).
(Not been high on my lists of things to do as all the roms I am looking at work with this).

Can you add support for ext3 filesystem?
