Just bought a my first android phone in the sprint motorola xprt and i refused to pay the extra fee to make it a hotspot so i was wondering if anyone knew how to root this phone. i have tried downloading z4root.apk the 1.3.0 version from 4shared.com as well as loading it from my sd but it stops working and goes back to the home screen after it says something about shell rooting. I have also tried installing gingerbread with no luck. I also tried going the superoneclick route with no success, it freezes everytime. Can anyone lend a helping hand?
