As I try my dad's Optimus Black, LG has actually improve their own UI a lot.. out of the box, P970's stock UI is even more smooth than my 2X. Does 2.3 bring anything significant that 2.2 doesn't have? Will it be worth bothering with the LG update? When will android support multicore cpus? Better power managment, faster, smoother, sip support, better sound, more "codecs". Its well worth waiting and upgrading to it. Android already supports multicore cpus ^^ The correct question is "when will the android applications support mulicore cpus" The answear? When they ll need it.
