It was the main reason I ditched the blade, we had plenty of workarounds but in the end the only option was to get an in line amp as the headphone volume was so pitiful,

Watching terminator on it last night had to have the volume just on the first notch but i suppose it depends on the sound level of the recording you are watching.

Just checked with a set of mid range sony in ear buds on a youtube vid and the sound was loud enough to be uncomfortable on its max setting.

Yes I'd agree with that, the volume level is much better, as is the camera (now with a flash), the screen is bigger and brighter and I really like the Orange Signal Boost witch routes calls through wifi when you have no signal.
