Situation is that the tablet does nothing when power button is pressed. Charge light comes on when plugged in but nothing. Batter was around 60% when it broke.

Device is rooted with TJ Style's ROM.

I installed ubuntu. Everything was fine. I stupidly typed reboot in the terminal to sort a stuck app in ubuntu. Device shut off and is now unresponsive.

Advice?

It seems the problem really was that it wouldn't turn off. I left it overnight then put a pin in the reset hole (haven't seen one of them in a long time) and it rebooted with a very low battery.
