I remember for Liquid, you can press both "volume +" and "volume -" and then Power to show "CLEAN BOOT".

How can I do the "clean boot" under Metal?

Try to put acer_ug folder picked from last 3.027.01 leak on your SD with a card reader.. Then boot to SD Download Mode with Camera / Vol-/ Power (the phone will vibrate 3 times)

I have a similar problem.

Have put the acer_ug on my sd card and boot with SD Download Mode with Camera/Vol-/Power, the phone started to install the image in the end it reboot for himself, but then started to boot again with the SD Download mode and now it gives an error reading the image. How can I boot the phone with no sd download mode?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I am not sure if we have the same problem.

In my case, the device kept booting as SD download mode, even without pressing POWER to boot.

I sent the device back to dealer for repair. The engineer said it was a hardware problem and required a MB replacement. It took 3 days.

Thank you for your reply.

I already solved my problem. It took me three days trying several solutions. As I explained after install version 2.3.4 from sd download mode, it rebooted but started to read the image again, and this time it give error reading the image.

Some times it read till 75% but then error again and again the buzzzzzz batery. And always in Sd Download mode.

So i started to think it could be the battery low( I don't know if it makes any sense) so I started to boot with the phone conected to the power charger and after a few attempts it installed this time with no errors. It rebooted then for the normal phone boot.

Working well now.

Thanks anyway
