i've got from a mirror, but personally i'd like the original. a website with a bunch of 404's is not exactly GPL compliant.

Sheesh! Some people are never happy ;)

you'd be happy if one of the mirrors had a trojan inserted into it? its not like we've got an md5sum from zte.

did anyone manage to download it with the & and space in the filename?

just noticed the v9 tablet source is there too - probably the same as for the libra/blade, just like the staraddict seems to point to the same files as the skate

The v9 source has been up for a while, not sure if they have updated it or not..

They must be using some sort of web cache since it 404's for me locally but not when I connect bck to my office In Calif

yes looks like someone is fscking with the bgp tables as from france it appears the server is in the uk and doesn't work (nor does it from the uk).

down the vpn to the usa its showing as being in china, and works (kind of, had a 404 on the 10th zip for a moment).

i finally managed to download all of the zip files after a couple of attempts at each file (wget worked better than firefox) via the usa, not via uk/france:

md5sums:

a73c1aee911fc41324a3935517564fc1 kernel.7z.001.zip

fc0d027f0df8abb747438fe85d0df0f0 kernel.7z.002.zip

6cdf1b5eee44ccf2495254faa9e62d80 kernel.7z.003.zip

9dcbb641220f5db805a7f583ae700e02 kernel.7z.004.zip

45c5c5e2c7e15e41d2e809232d13a02d kernel.7z.005.zip

0b82496984802f1e62401b6fc0a6902f kernel.7z.006.zip

a6028936332909b7ad795c780ee6b9e2 kernel.7z.007.zip

d0a74ac5c7f866196f502d5fb04bb38d kernel.7z.008.zip

c571f97bb6dfa1c78b981d9d28e75439 kernel.7z.009.zip

a4bd85a4e7c3741497337ca82d80d6f1 kernel.7z.010.zip

unzip all of those, gives you a bunch of 7zip files, unzip all of those and it gives you kernel.tar.gz (md5sum: 3d064a993d989646b8071a55acbb241c) which is the file we want.

not sure how much use the mirrors are as they're all ZTE_Skate_SourceCode.zip which means its been recompressed by someone, and lost any unix permission/ownership info, and possibly hidden files and symlinks, and is about 35mb larger than the tarball.

if you have firefox, get the DownThemAll add-on and then the downloads should start working, well it worked for me off the Zte site

The code has been uploaded to two github repos, Phoenix Silvers and my own. I don't know what Phoenix is planning to do with her repo but the kernel code on mine will eventually be modified to support CyanogenMod 7 for both the ZTE Skate and ZTE Blade. Of course, a new branch will be created when this happens.

My repo is https://github.com/flibblesan/ZTE-2.6.35.7

Then expect ZTE Blate kernel release from you?
