I have written with t0mm13b a clockworkmod where you can navigate with icons instead of the hardware keys

Topic is there :

http://android.modaco.com/topic/345738-clockworkmod-gui/

Is someone with a skate would want to try if the app works in his handset ?

If no maybe you want the app be adapted for the skate ?

Ty :)

Guest Phoenix Silver

how would i load the clockwork on my skate.i like testing .so im game.

Follow the blade post

And download the files

You have one version to flash with fastboot

You have a version to flash in clockworkmode if you have already a clockworkmod installed

Files are here btw :

Download link

Files are

install_photom_cwm_fastboot.zip (fastboot)

update_photom_cwm.zip (clockworkmod update)

just those two files .do i flash 1 after the other or reboot.

Unzip update_photom_cwm.zip

Copy update_photom_recovery_22.zip in your sdcard

And flash this file in clockworkmod recovery

Okie, darling, will have to come up with a proper diagnosis of the skate's input handling mechanism using the stock Skate kernel code in order to minimize and prevent disruption :)

I have pauls clockwork for OMC installed...

When I go to clockwork recovery menu it buggers up the screen, to give you an idea looks like an un adjusted TV with lines going through it

I can still read the menu, enter options and do things but it's sh*t...

Testing ... (interrupt to exit)

Brilliant! Thanks a million for that - will have some news on that tomorrow (it will be beta so will need a beta-tester or two!) :D

Cheers,

B)

P.S: What ROM is that and would you know the device tree for the skate so that I can integrate into the build?
