Hi all. I'm living in Argentina and recently brought the LG GT540g with the network provider Personal. After officially updating to LG 2.1(Eclair I believe), I have successfully rooted the device using the guide pinned here. I then followed the pinned guide to install app2sd. I followed the Mini tool guide to create a 800mb ext2 partition on my 4G SD card. I placed the folder in my C: drive, ran CMD as admin, ran the autorootapp2sd.bat and chose option 1 for a standard installation. (and my device was correctly connect with debugging on and SD mount off). The installation apparently was successful and I didn't receive any errors. I rebooted my phone, yet applications still install to the phones internal memory. I've since tried deleting the app2sd installation and repeated the installation process various times with no success. If I look at the ext2 partition using the mini tool it apparently has 80MB of information installed?
Anyway all I really want to do is have my device rooted and be able to install apps to the SD card. Should I continue to TS with app2sd or would people recommend installing a ROM. If so which ROM would be appropriate, I've read all over the place that various ROMs cause lower battery life and don't suppport various features like the camera and radio.
Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated, Thanks
