(Mods: If this is the wrong place, please move it.)
I have a Verizon VX6900 (HTC Vogue). Ever since I've had it, it has an annoying glitch in the ringer volume setting. First, it only has three settings: on, vibrate, and off. Second, turning my bluetooth on or off or adjusting the listening volume will change this setting!
I keep my phone on vibrate. But I don't know how many times I've missed calls because I turned off my bluetooth and the ringer turned off! Or I adjust the listening volume and the ringer turned on. For about six months, I bugged Verizon and HTC techs to no avail; finally a Verizon tech said he had used one of these phones, noticed that peculiarity, and found there was no help for it. It's not the bluetooth, it's the phone - or at least the phone with Verizon's system on it.
So now I'm wondering if someone knows of a script that can be used to periodically poll this setting and change it to vibrate?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
