Its a "phone" with a relatively subdue screen size
If I wanted a phone I would buy one with a very active dev scene to ensure consistent updates  
Its lucky the streak got Steve and Fards otherwise it would just be a pretty brick..

Totally agree with you, us "Streak" owners owe a lot to Steve and Fards.

another fine example of dell screwing its customers out of what they want again....

Either that, or Dell supplying what they think will sell best. The Dell Streak with 5" screen is just ahead if it's time... Mainstream smartphones are edging up in size each generation - my guess is that some manufacturer is going to perfect a seamless folding screen and we'll see 6" become the norm for mobile displays.
