I already rooted my phone, installed clockwork and made a nandroid backup. I'm also installing Titanium to backup my data.
I wonder if the nandroid backup will be sufficient to restore the phone to how it is now after using the TPT install method. I understand the TPT install converts your phone to GEN2. Does this mean that I will have to manually downgrade to GEN1 if I want to restore my backup? Or will that happen automatically?
Thanks!

You'll need to convert back to Gen 1 before you can restore your backup.
TPT Helper lets you easily repartition your ZTE phone, install a new ROM and for the Blade, convert to/from Gen 2. Available for Orange San Francisco/ZTE Blade, Orange Monte Carlo/ZTE Skate and Orange San Francisco II/T-Mobile Vivacity. https://market.andro...horas.tpthelper

I flashed this ROM today, and it works great except every few seconds I get a 'Sorry! The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.' error message. It seems to be a common problem but I can't find a solution anywhere - can you help??
Apologies in advance if I'm being an idiot, or if I'm flouting the 'No wipe, no whine' rule - I thought I did everything right when I flashed it!
Thanks

Sorry for being a noob...
Anyone know how to unlock a gen3 phone? I've patched the gen3 zip and now get the pin challenge, but since it's a locked phone I'm asked to enter the unlock code.
I've tried several apps and they all genereate the same code but it doesn't work.
Anyone?

My wife also owns a ZTE Blade (San Francisco) Gen1 phone, with the white cover and originally with Android 2.1. Today I flashed it with this Moldovan Mile-High-Mountain-Pie RLS9 ROM and I am having two issues that I still wasn't able to solve:
1) the proximity sensor does not work, no matter what I do. I already tried several different tools to calibrate it, but it does not respond (I get my hand close to the sensor, but nothing happens). I also tried to use the Emode Helper tool, but I didn't find a way to launch it (it is installed as a system app, but I don't know how I can launch it).
2) when the phone's screen is off (on the lock screen), it suddenly turns on, the same was as if I pressed the power button. It turns off again after a few seconds, and does this for several times. It does not happen always.
Any help?

I have this ROM about 4 months, and I don't have any problems. Very good and stable ROM. Battery life is cool. Wi-Fi work very well. Games work good.
