Guest ltpitt
What kind of steps should I follow to get it back to factory? I want to be sure that everything (any file, any mod, any setting) I've ever done is deleted and substituted with original Acer content.
Guest TechnoLover
flash any bin (e.g. 4.000.07) you want and then do a hard reset with key combo ;)
Guest stonebear
What is the combo for a hard reset please?
Guest TechnoLover
volume up + volume down + power for about 3-5 seconds ;) menu selection is like in recovery: with volume up/down and camera button ;)
Guest stonebear
volume up + volume down + power for about 3-5 seconds ;) menu selection is like in recovery: with volume up/down and camera button ;) Thanks, so this is different from a "factory data reset"? If so, what does it actually do different from factory data reset? I have been googling but a lot of the results I am getting seem to be talking about a factory data reset and calling it a hard reset and I don't think they are the same. Guest TechnoLover
they are the same ;) but factory reset is only available when you're able to enter Android and you're not stuck in a bootloop that's were the Hard reset comes ;)

It will totally wipe the nand or not? Thanks!
Guest TechnoLover
yep but then you have custom recovery left and not a "total" wipe ;) Edited October 25, 2011 by TechnoLover

(I read again what I wrote and I barely understand myself) Edited October 25, 2011 by ltpitt
