I managed myself to start porting this stuff to our belowed phone)
So, i'm gonna tell here about my succeses and fails)

25.10.11: tried to boot it, it says: exec '/system/bin/sh' failed:exec format error(8)
tried many different combinations - guess figured out what it could be > tomorrow i will update with my results

Stay tuned and cooperate if you want, i would be really pleased if you do)

Sounds like you're trying to run an executable compiled for a different platform. On your pc (in linux) try running 'file <path-to-the-executable>' and check what you get.

what do you mean under "executable"?) system/bin/sh?

Yes. Is the version of ics (and its executables) you've got compiled for arm? Or is it meant to run on a computer? (I have no idea how the sdk works, so I might be completely wrong)

it is meant to run on computer)

The problem seems to be very interesting - it's compilation problem))) trying to figure out how to do it properly(with deploy or no)

i finally made boot path through an exec error) now i trying to figure out some errors, but they are just nothing comparing to what i hae passed) just wait, i will let you know!

damn, apperently need a dump from the phone, cause the are some probs with booting..serious probs... and i honestly little tired of assembling and disassembling my phone everyday to pull out battery. So, i will continue when a phone dump will be available(like from galaxy nexus)

I'm pretty sure there was a dump from the Galaxy Nexus? Or failing that, there is a near 100% function port for the Nexus S on XDA Devs, that of any use?

no, there is an APPS dump from Galaxy nexus, not a whole rom... i think that these days someone will make a dump and i will continue...

it would be great to have a ics rom for lg optimus 2x.
