Gingerounay 2.5.1 setcpu correct setup

Hi all!

I'd like to fine tune my setcpu.

Right now I have a minimum around 256 mhz and a maximum on 1200 (more or less) and the setting is "on demand".

Sometimes it gets VERY SLUGGISH.

So I just put in on "performance" and it goes like a champ.

I'd love to find a setup between good speed and power consumption...

Any hints?

I found smartassV2 to be good, I set it on 245-1017mhz.

It seems weird that on-demand was sluggish, I never used it when with 'ounay 2.5.1.

with smartassV2 I experienced some lags when watching DivX movies, now I use lagfree governor and it works pretty well. It uses now nearly every frequency between min and max, pretty cool (:

power consumption is really good... due to the fact that every frequency is used, the voltage isn't everytime the highest und some power is saved. Another aspect is that it mostly doesn't reach the highest frequency which ends up in lower voltage usage, too.
