Or is it as simple as this?? Edited November 4, 2011 by Unchange

Guest
This is same problem as dolby sound being used on cm7.Its not a case of simply moving the music app to cm7 because dolby sound is most likely in frameworks,At least that's my guess anyway. So moving the signal boost app to cm7 just wont work.I would expect the app would fail to install.

I copied /system/lib/libkineto.so /system/wifi/kineto_gan.ko from bluemonte to cyanogemnod and the boost app does not stop. Not sure if it actuelly works ... I have (rounded off) ping up dn 80ms 3000kbps 2000kbps but my galaxy sii has ping up dn 30ms 25000kbps 5500kbps
Guest aamiel
Have you tried it further? This signal boost is really a must have for me (locks on orange but allows to call from abroad) so I am currently stuck on bluemonte, not that I would complain. If it is working, the little house in the notification area will turn green meaning that you are using wifi to do voice calls.
Guest Sidecar_jon
I have an odd "problem/feature" with signal boost. Sitting on the settee there is a poor signal. If the wife rings me its rings and i answer and am able to talk for about ten seconds then signal boost shuts down and ping shes gone. Removing the phone from me ear it is dark and the screen comes back but WiFi is off the little house sign is red and then it seems to reboot and go green. I through i was leaning out of the signal area but im sure its signal boost shutting down when the screen is dark....what is going on there?
