Hi Guys.
Just bought a new Vodafone AU X10i today, got home and tried to unlock the bootloader.
Unfortunately things didnt go as planned. but I managed to Recover using flashtool and the stock Vodafone AU image.
So i'm back to square 1.

Could you guys (who have more experience than me in the X10) help me do this?
I'm not a complete noob as i've been tinkering with different phones over the years.

What I'm looking for is to get rid of the stock firmware and locked bootloader.
and get MIUI + maybe change the baseband for a better performing one?(I know this can be tricky)

you can use flashtool to do everything. you can find it HERE

Do you have any overall steps to do this?
no need exact steps, just an idea of what after what.

1st just press to get root then on other button press to bootloader. that´s quite simple in these days:D

Yup.
didnt realise the latest flashtool could easily do both.
