As above the Nexus is not locked on Three :), they took the advice from there customers (so they say) - its the same for the Nokia Mulia 800 they are sim free stock pretty much.

The PAYG one is not, I bought one, it has my T-Mobile SIM in it and is fine.
The bloke in the shop told me it was locked, he was wrong.

Dunno if the on-contract one is any different.

I have a Galaxy Nexus on contract which I got directly from Three via their call centre and it appears to be unlocked. I tried my Orange SIM and it works!

Nice one, Three!

Yeah, I picked up one PAYG. Haven't even inserted the sim I had to buy, just popped my T-Mobile sim in, and I'm off. :D

Hi, does the phone come with pure ICS rom with no other added 3 network stuff?

If there is an update in the future, would it be released by samsung/google? or do we need to wait for the update by 3 specifically?

Yes.

Not sure about the second Q, I'm guessing that we won't have to wait, we'll probably know quite quickly if this rumoured OTA volume fix comes through.
