According to Titanium on Monte Carlo

System Rom= 230

Internal= 170

Total= 400

According to Titanium on San Francisco

System Rom= 167

Internal= 308

Total=475

According on Orange website it should be 512MB

I am missing 112MB and the phone is constantly out of disk space.

It is normal or should I get the phone change?

PS= It is rooted and with CynogenMod

Thanks

According to this topic My link it should be around 440MB, so I am missing about 40MB at least...

Titanium only shows the system and data partitions, there's several other you aren't counting. See this post in that thread.

I am surprised at how little room there is within the data partition compared to my San Fran. With the CM7 ROM installed on the OMC it is not long before I run out of room. Unless you repartition then using something like Links2SD seems to be a reasonable solution. I installed Lins2SD as the first app after installing the ROM. As such it seemed to then pick up every application and game after and did what it does the best by moving what it could over to the EXT3 partition I created.

Even though it does not prevent the data partition from filling up it still makes it possible to have lots of apps and games that you could not other wise install.

I've got only these apps on the phone memory:

Lookout, Handcent SMs, Go Launcher EX/Notification, Alarm Clock Plus, ColorNote, Smooth Calendar, 3G Watchdog, DroidStats, Gemini App Manager

And I was out of internal memory…

Anyway I had to format the phone with that hack:

Option 1: 150MB system, 35MB cache, 255MB data

I did not know about Link2Sd… It is very usefull

if you are using cm7 rom then it's best to use S2E from Market, it's much more faster and efficient than link2sd....
