I have CM 7 nightly 11612011 installed and CWM (and SwiftExtreme LOC kernel - runs very nicely! )

I'm getting a new larger SD card shortly.

1) Can I just copy the contents from one to the other?
2) Will this affect CWM?
3) Is CWM held in ROM on the phone or on the SD card?
4) I have nandroid backups on the SD card..presumably these will be unhurt by the process?
5) Is there anything else I need to be aware of?

Did this not long ago, it just worked. Copy everything across and it should be fine, check first before wiping the old SD card though.

Do you use any additional special partitions (e.g. EXT3/4) on your card?

No..just standard CM 7 nigthlies as they come.

Thanks for this very well timed thread, I've got a 32gb card arriving any day now so will need to be doing this and you've saved me having to ask.  Looking forward to upgrading my class 4 8gb to a class 10 32gb
