Samsung Kies working with B7610 Omnia Pro?

Hi . Has anyone ever got a Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro to work with Samsung Kies? - it says "connecting" with a spinning circle top left of the screen. Just thought I would ask here first and see if anyone got it to successfully connect. I can use New PC Studio but I wanted to give this Kies program a try. Thanks.
