I need this app badly for my video work on my canon DSLR. Have anyone tested the app? Can you please test it as i am about to get this tablet tomorrow. 1 more thing, will the DSLR controller app work on froyo too since it has usb host support. thanks in advance. Well. I am on a budget you see. Guest jevdroid Posted December 7, 2011 Report Share Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) I just tested the "Remote Release" app as per the description of DSLR controller and it doesn't work on my Point of View running Vegacomb 3.2n9 hooked up to my 5DII. Thus I do not think DSLR controller will work with it either. Anyway are you a professional photog/ videog ? haha. You practically own 3 FF. Two, just 2. The 10D has an old and crappy APS-C sensor. I'm no professional but just a weekend-warrior. Have been one for some 35 years now and always kept the machines I was happy with when buying new stuff. So yeah, there's quite some gear (analog as well as digital) in the closet in my studio :-D. Most of it is collecting dust though. Guest falum Posted December 10, 2011 Report Share Posted December 10, 2011 I have a canon 550d + magic lantern firmware + Vega on Honey ice 3.2.7 I have tried every version of dslr remote + every firmware back to corvus on vega and never had it working. The developer might add support. So I'm in 2 minds if I should keep it or get a refund, will probably keep it as it's only a fiver. Remarkable similar to my posts in this thread, isn't it? :D Anyway, the default OS on the vega afaik doesn't support USB host.
