Bravia engine Hack

i found on xda this bravia engine hack zip, it must be install by flashing in recovery but i get an error: system/tts/lang-pico/ es-ES_ta.bin

many people install it on non-Sony Ericcson devices, maybe is it not compatible with metal?

EDIT: this version is for LG dual, so it's for sure this reason that don't work, anyone could modify it or is it to hard?

i disabled signature check but i got a different error

I HAVEN'T TRIED THE THINGS BELOW I MAYBE COMPLETELY WRONG

WE MAY BE GETTING THE ERROR BECAUSE ZIP WAS MADE FOR LG P990 SO IF REPLACE "P990" BY "A4" OR "S120" AND "LG" BY "ACER" WE MAY GET IT TO WORK

THOUGH THERE ARE FEW MANY PROBLEMS

1)Open META -INF

Open file MANIFEST.MF

CERT.SF

CERT.RSA

I don't know the proper values to be put in place of "p990" in these files

2)Open META-INF\com\google\android

Open updater-script

replace ("ro.product.device") == "p990"

by ("ro.product.device") == "a4"

I couldn't find ("ro.build.product") in my (cm7.24 liquid metal) build.prop so don't know what values to put there

Also when i opened updater-binary I couldn't comprehend it

3)Open META-INF\com\android

Open metadata

I did find p990 some where but i don't know the proper replacement for it

hoping the devs could do something about it

waiting for stable ICS (CM9) on liquid metal

delete only this lines in updater-script:

assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "p990" ||

       getprop("ro.build.product") == "p990");

repack it and flash w/o sign check ;)

A very weak effect. The result is not worth it.:unsure:

And image lost sharpness. <_< Look to surface of stones at bottom image.

2nd image w\o bravia and stones have a more sharpness.

Would you like to see this change of colors, try to install a tool from Market - Screen Adjuster and play with the settings. ;)

Honestly my wife has an Arc, and I really don't notice the Bravia engine.

(on a side note, she won't let me root the thing....really bugging me.)
