Guest Atomix86 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 If you've unlocked it once, then it will stay unlocked forever now. As for rooting, you only need to root if you are using an official stock ROM. As far as I'm aware, all of the custom ROMs available for the Skate are already rooted and ready to go.
