I have no knowlegde whatsoever of drivers, manuals, updating ect. In all honesty, it all goes over my head. Anyway, when I bought the Vega in Currys, the guy in the shop charged me £25 to update it to all the latest software, apparently - for all i know he could have taken it for a walk upstairs, stuck in back in the box and handed it back to me. A few weeks ago, my screen went, i took it back and they agreed to have it fixed as it was still under waranty. It is due back to the store this Thursday. So i figure, I might as well let them update it for me again, as I have no clue how to do it myself. Could some of you more experienced users please tell me what I should be asking them to put on the machine? What versions ect??? Many thanks in advance They will not put any software on later than probably whats already on it ... the latest for vega is 1.10 .. its ancient in real world terms .. Im not sure what the 25 quid bought you .. anti virus software maybe ? they tried to sell me that when i bought mine and then argued when i told them i did not need it .. hang around here, read some and look to whats about .. there are a few custom roms going about ... just make sure your tablet comes back working as you'd expect .. also ask them what the updated software you got was .... if it was virus .. get your cash back .... there are free options available ... and even then im suspect we need it ...
