I recently rooted my device and then one evening, with a stroke of genius, I deleted the dialer 2.2.2 system app. I thought that, if I discovered that it was very important, I could just restore it with Titanium back-up. That didn't happen. I click on restore and it just sits there for a long time at "Restoring Dialer 2.2.2"
It has been suggested to me that I need to re-flash my ROM. Can anyone help me to do that? I have seen a lot of help guides online for people who live in Europe, but not for North America. I need to have the proper software version or it won't work properly I don't think.
Here is my "About Phone" info:
Model Number:
GT-i5510M
Android Version:
2.2.2
Baseband Version:
Unknown but I think it is supposed to be i5510UGKC5
Kernel Version:
2.6.32.9-perf
pac110@pac110-desktop #1
Build number: FROYO.UGKC5
Any help at all, from anyone, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much!!
