thanks to the clever folk on here i now have an unlocked and debranded sf2. Ive used it for about a month and have had no probs whatsoever. I now though would like to give Fish n' Chips a try and was wondering what steps i would have to take given that ive already unlocked and debranded it. Any help is appreciated. Ta.

Put the chosen Fish N Chip ROM on your MicroSD Card root, not in a folder and leave zipped. These have a dedicated choice for either the SFII or the Vivacity now so shouldn`t need the kernel file flashing (to realign the keyboard) after the chosen ROM file is flashed. Use Titanium Backup so that you can restore APPS and DATA after the ROM change. You could backup the MicroSD card but it shouldn`t be necessary. Ensure the phone is close to 100% charged before you start and you have time, peace and quiet to proceed. Reboot the phone to the Restore screen (CWM). First wipe the factory data, do not reboot. Wipe both caches one after each other, one of them is accessed by using the "advanced" option. Then go back to the first screen of CWM-Restore. Choose to flash a zip file on SD card and point it to the Fish N Chip Rom on your MicroSD Card Root.
Reboot the system by using the correct menu option when its completed and tells you its successful. First reboot will take longer than the next reboots as it sets up your phone. Use Titanium Backup to restore the APPS and/or Data you need and want applied. Once you`ve checked it all out and you`re satisfied make fresh backups.

*** Just remember, any ROM change, Kernel change or any other type of change you do is at your own risk. Someone helping you is not responsible for any risks you decide to take. It works for many but their are situations, events and errors outside of the control of a third party that may cause a bricked phone. Think before you start. I took the chance and thankfully it worked for me. Had it not then only I would have been to blame. ***
