Expected to feature Ice Cream Sandwich and Tegra3 in line with the Transformer tablets, the device represents a real innovation in the current market and a potential for cost reduction by avoiding duplication of the 'guts' of your Android devices. Fringe benefits such as no longer needing to sync data between different devices shouldn't be underestimated too! NetbookNews have a pretty good video of the device on (embedded below), which also shows compataibility with the dock from the original Transformer. I am pretty excited about this one, I just hope that Asus really make the phone itself top notch as it's not an area they have a lot of recent experience in! What are your thoughts? I can't wait to ditch windows and go 100% Android at home. Having sync possible across devices via dropbox /Chrome and Dolphin and even via google itself is undeniably cool and unquestionably the kind of thing Computers/Digital devices are perfect for. I have a TF101 and a Galaxy S2 and would love to replace them with this if - and it's a big if - ASUS can produce a phone that comes close to the SGS2 (I know they can match/better the TF). I'll certainly sell my Nexus S and Transformer (but not the dock!) and get one. It does exactly what I want, including not have to worry about what's installed on my tablet and what's on my phone. All in one place! I can't wait for the announcement. This has the potential to by my Device of the Year, easily. I just hope they don't make any rookie mistakes. Put the micro-SD slot on the phone, for example, not on the pad-dock bit. Lose the capacitive buttons from the demo model, as ICS renders them superfluous. Come on Asus. Don't screw this one up...
