Guest tilburgr
I have an Issue with my Medion Life P4130. I post this here in this forum since Medion used the ZTE (Skate-model) as ODM supplier - so in principle ZTE-Skate and Medion P4130 behave more or less identical. When I make a call with my Medion Life P4130 I have an issue when I want go onhook again while I'm in conversation or in call setup mode. The problem is that the screen goes in a kind of standby(black) mode after 4 or 5 seconds when I initiated my mobile call. It seems I don't find a way to reactivate my display - so I cannot use my soft display buttons during this phase of the call. I guess the normal way to reactivate (light) the screen would be to push a bottom button or to push the right topside button of the device but this is not working. If I push the right topside button I see that the lights of the 3 hard-buttons are lighted BUT my screen is not. Also when I hit after this action one of the lighted buttons nothing happens. Already 4 times I had to remove the battery to get out of this state ... sometimes the screen pops up after a while but it immediately goes to sleep/standby again .. Did anyone else experience this issue If Yes - how did you solve it. ps: For the rest I'm very pleased with my smartphone ;-)

Guest tilburgr
Thanks a lot ...PedroVader I followed the instructions almost identical like explained at: http://blog.brightpo...ty-sensor-patch Form now on my outgoing phone calls can be stopped before the call is answered - if my screen turned to black (standby) in the mean time :-). Just a tap on the screen with your finger displays the screen again - I can use my softbuttons now! So I copied the apk file ( http://blog.brightpo...Clib_signed.apk ) onto my SD-card. With a "filemanager" (Eg Astro) I moved to the Dir where the apk file resides. I clicked on the file and confirmed to have the app installed (see also http://blog.brightpo...ty-sensor-patch) I switched my device off and on. Now this issue is solved!!
