We're just a few weeks away from Mobile World Congress and the obligatory string of 2012 handset announcements. Manufacturers strive to keep their latest and greatest locked-down before the show and this year is no exception - with leaks from practically all of them.

Today is the turn of LG, with two Android 4.0 devices. First up is the LG-P700, which we know relatively little about other than the OS and screen resolution of 640x480. The resolution, if reported correctly, is very interesting - it's quite new to the Android platform.

The other phone, the LG-P880 (likely the rumored X3), is planned to be a high-end device - presumably fighting the new SGS III. It'll sport a 720p screen resolution at 4.7 inches, 8 megapixel rear camera and 16GB of internal storage. It will also run Android 4.0. It's very likely running the Tegra 3 quad core SoC, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and a microSD memory card slot.

Neither of these are of course official, but we'll know more in the coming weeks. We can only hope that LG have learnt some from the 2X, providing a better experience with their new phones. Stay tuned! :D
