Hi there,

my power button is not working well ... it is only a matter of time when its completely not working :-/

I dont care about battery life - is there any app which will keep phone awake when the screen is off? So all the buttons will bring screen back...

Tried CM settings "volume rocker wake" but its not working.

thanks for any advice

I am sure I read a post about problems with the power on off button in the modaco wiki page. It might be worth a look and try before using apps to keep the phone awake as I believe its a common problem.

Use your USB / charger lead to wake up the screen and remove it unless you want to charge your phone.

There are various apps for keeping wifi alive on the market.  They tend to work by keeping the phone awake.

My Blade site - includes vanilla KANGS's of CM7.  Also available: modified GB Gapps with various market versions, mini ICS Gapps for 160mb system partitions and Flash for ARMv6

Have you tried, wake lock power manager, free from market, that will allow you to set a partial wakelock,so your screen will turn off, but CPU won't sleep, press a soft key ,rocker ect to wake

Try "WakeAll" app from market. This one works well for me. But you have to know that your battery life will be reduced, because your phone can't go into deep sleep state.
