Hi,

Is it worth gettings these ZTE's? And is it possible, when released ICS could be salvaged ( some parts ) to our Blade?

The 4.3" one is. The mid spec isn't as its CDMA. I just hope orange don't get it, and if they do, don't call it a stupid name. Like the Orange Paris or something

For porting 4.0. I thouhht it would b useful for drivers or whatknot

Basically nothing will be usable. Maybe the kernel source will be somewhat blade-compatible but i assume they start over with a clean sheet (all the kernel releases so far were pretty much the same with some changes here and there).

Everything announced so far from zte shouts nvidia tegra at me. After seeing what Samsung has just announced I think a lot of blade users would swap, will post an article later,

If the price was right I'd definitely buy ZTE again. If they keep the sell it cheap approach i can imagine a lot of these phones being sold.

Interesting, given they have such budget devices. I feel the need for this to be sub £200, though considering the price of the skate, I doubt that. However it could drop from the initial price relatively quickly like the skate did

I emailed Zte about kernel source codes for the phones with the newer cameras and they said its not available, when I questioned why its not available, they said it wouldn't be released as its confidential. Not sure what they are playing at.

Sorry crossed wires, I asked for Blade and its itinerations kernel source code for the blades with the newer cameras, not these specific phones
