Guest Mark Dearlove
Three customers will be pleased to hear that the operator has reshuffled their contract deals. From Thursday you will be able to buy either the 'Unlimited Internet Plan' or an 'Essential Internet Plan', as well as their 'One Plan'. Both new plans come with 5000 texts and a variety of included minute options. The Unlimited Plan is exactly that - unlimited data but it doesn't allow the tethering functionality provided by the One Plan. The Essential Plan gives users 250MB of data with the option of adding additional data bundles. If no bundle is bought, data access will be stopped until the roll-over date. There will be two options for boosting allowances - £2 for another 250MB, or £5 for all you can eat for a period of 30 days. By using the Essential Plan there will be no unsightly over-usage bills arriving to give customers bill shock. It's noble of Three to extend their all you can eat data plans to a larger percentage of their user base. They also don't restrict bandwidth in the same way that T-Mobile stealthily do. Will other networks follow in Three's footsteps? Unlikely. Take a look at the full announcement from Three This item was promoted to the News page - click here to view. Guest hecatae
that £13 Unlimited Internet Plan offer is a joke, you have an option of three handsets, and you have to pay £39 upfront for the handset. Would not mind, but you only have the option of a Nokia C2-01 or a Galaxy Europa in Black or White.
