Guest Ron=) Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) Just tested the Rom - Themes work great - The launcher is incredibly smooth (Launcher settings --> enable hq graphics [for some reason this helps a LOT]) - Status bar incredibly smooth - Camera works great (better that come CM roms where it takes longer to focus!) - MIUI themes work great - Contacts, Dialler, Data & RIL are all Good - MIUI settings are extremely laggy and partly in chinese - Wifi does not seem to connect for me When you first install the ROM it will not be in English. Open the settings app, go to the third tab, pick the second item on the third block of items, then pick the first item. Then restart and a few more things will update to english. Original thread is on MIUI's official forum: http://www.miui.com/thread-466565-1-1.html It's based on burstlam's CM7 build N373X, and has most of the MIUI features - the MIUI porting is still in progress, andalululu will update it almost every weekend. Known bugs for the latest 17/03/2012 version: 1 Reboot happens only if an app has been installed on the SD card and is running (including running in background) when mounting USB storage, or sometimes when installing/ uninstalling apps to/from SD. 2 Some menus are unreadable due to the color contrast changed in the 17th March version. @Ron=) I don't find significant difference whether turn on HQ graphics or not, but to disable the icon shadow will make the launcher much smoother. Indeed I don't either now. It's strange, before the background on my launcher did not scroll and upon enabling HQ graphics, it was insanely smooth. After changing my wallpaper for the first time, it now scrolls and performance overall is somewhat mediocre (HQ or not) It still isn't perfect without the shadows. Hmm.. must figure how to disable the scrolling now! Also, does wifi work for you? Did you have to use the fix in the original thread? Actually I haven't got a Blade but a Skate running MIUI ported from this version. I do find some people complaint about WiFi, so I guess that patch is needed for some blades.
