Hello everyone, this will get rid of the nasty orange software and return you with proper android NO orange branding or Apps.

Firstly connect your phone via USB

Go to (https://www.dropbox....todbirhlczkuni3) and download the zip file ending (%28Kenya Normal%29.rar) if not sure see attached picture.

Once the file has downloaded extract the  zip file and copy the DLOAD file to the root of your sdcard.

Once its copied to your sdcard switch off the phone.

Remove the battery for Approx 20 seconds and replace the battery.

Now hold RED END CALL KEY & VOLUME + & POWER until the update screen pops up,

The update should take approx 2 minutes.

Once your phone restarts you will be welcomed by the Huawei boot logo instead of the orange logo.

Hi Guys

just a few questions befor i get started.
1. Do i need to be rooted befor doing this
2. Do i need to install CWM befor i install U8350 V100R001C00B626SP01%28Kenya Normal%29
3. Will this give me root accsess after debranding.

I have already downloaded superoneclick, recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-u8350 & recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-u8350-update_signed just incase i need them.

Any help would be gratley appreciated

Hi guys.

Just to answer my own questions ( just incase anyone out there is stuck like i was)

1 No you dont need a rooted device.
2 No you dont need CWM.
3 No this dose not root you device ( but this can easaly be done with superoneclick)

Hi - Possibly a stupid question

if I want to both unlock the phone from Orange and debrand it with this ROM, which do I do first, or doesn't it matter?

I know you can unlock with this rom installed if you are using an unlock code as I have done it myself , but I would recommend the CM7 rom project Sarah though as it is much faster but not sure if you can unlock whither it installed, but don't see why you wouldn't be able 2 as I believe the simlock has nothing to do with the rom, but I may be wrong???

just done this and it still work perfectly but the link for the debranded/kenyan firmware didnt work so had to source my own, here is the link:

The link for the zip file is broken. Could you please add a link from Mediafire, I am unsure whether the link the other guy is giving (above) is safe.

Also, how would you recommend unlocking this handset for free?

I have orange barcelona and  http://www.mediafire...gpaa2��I've done all of our topic, but now I can not root the phone. Before that I had root, oneclickroot, now you can not. Can someone help
