  • TVCatchup Android Application. Watch TV on your phone. May not work out side the UK.
  • Moon+ Reader Pro. They do a free version but the pro version can do text-to-speech.
  • Jeannie. Pretty much the same as Siri. Speaktoit is also a great alternative.
  • IVONA Text-to-Speech HQ. The Amy UK voice is really good. Much better then the
type voice that Android default voice uses. Best of all, its FREE!
  • Dragon Go! Really great app to do voice searches. You simply tell it what you want and it delivers the results within seconds from multipliable resources.
  • Swype Beta. The beta is Free and uses http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2u_InYy-84.
  • PxxxTube :) I will let you Google that one.
  • All In One Remote. Probably not the best remote app but its the best cross platform one. I use a Linux distro and this is the best one that I have found.
  • Crackle - Movies & TV. To be honest the TV shows and films that get played on Crackle are pretty poor but its kinda cool you can stream movies to your phone for free.
  • gReader. If you use Google Reader this app is a huge improvement over the default Google Reader app.
  • Redlaser. This is probably the best barcode reader I have used, and its fast.
  • Flixster. If you love your movies then this is a must have app.
  • Subsonic Music Streamer. You will be able to access all your music and videos that are on your PC from your phone.
  • Go SMS. Awesome text app just a shame the Acer led light doesn't work with it.
  • Dolphin Browser® HD. I honestly believe this is the best browser for Android at the moment. If Chrome ever works on 2.3 I may change my mind but for the moment Dolphin is by far the best IMHO.
  • TuneIn Radio. This is a really well made internet radio app. Being able to set a radio station as an alarm is a really nice feature.

I have got a few more but would like to hear what apps other people like that may not be known by other people.

I really like Boat Browser. Works better than any other IMO. Used Dolphin but dropped it in favour of Boat. I really like Perfect Keyboard. Have tried and bought others. I also like Zeam launcher. I like my phone fast and light and Zeam is that.

Zeam launcher is pretty awesome. Just set it up on a ZTE Blade. My biggest issue with most launchers is the lack of being able to organize your menus. Thats one of the main reasons I keep going back to the default Acer launcher. I like being able to make up tabs/windows with the apps I have. Like I have one window/tab with just my games, then one with system tools and one with social apps etc. Most Launchers only list apps alphabetically (like Zeam launcher does) or if they do allow you to move apps around you can't make a new window/tab unless the other windows are filled first (GO Launcher EX). With the Acer Breeze launcher you can have just one app per window/tab if you like, you don't have to fill all the windows/tabs before you can make a new one.

This is why I keep going back to the Acer Breeze Launcher. Its awesome at keeping my apps organized. I don't have to look though the many windows/tabs to find what I am looking for.

And I agree with Perfect Keyboard :) It's what I use as well.

Heres another app people may not know about.

  • CamScanner. Its a pretty large program so be warned. This is such a well done and cleaver app. If you are someone that scans a lot of documents like CV/Resume or just need a portable scanner, this is an awesome app for that. It uses your accelerometers as a spirit level so it knows what angle you took the photo from. From that it can level up the image and crop it for you. It also optimizes the image and cleans up the text and digitizes it. With this program I have been able to scan documents and save them as a PDF that look just as good as if I used a PC scanner (sometimes better because it digitizes the text).

Miui is great and most things work well. Lots of things are integrated. But Bluetooth calling doesn't work and speakerphone doesn't either. Same issues with cm7.

I like Stats, a perfect app for keeping track of your internet use, sms and phonecalls. You can even put a limit on it. Also FLnotifier is a nice app, it lets your flashlight flashes when you have a notification, en as therd telsaLED it is just a great app for flashlight , nice extra functions like a really fast strobelight, morsecose, ect.

  • Tower Defense: Lost Earth. Not an app but a really fun free game.
  • iOnRoad. Augmented reality driving companion with collision detection alerts.
  • LBE Privacy Guard. Monitors access requests made by apps and alerts you of them, much like Windows’ UAC.
  • Pops. Custom animated alerts for your text messages, Facebook, Twitter and Emails.
  • TouchRetouch Free. Allows seamless removal of unwanted content from images.
  • Hearing Saver. Automatically changes media volume to predefined levels when headphones are plugged in or unplugged. Also works with Bluetooth headphones.

Pingui what do you mean with this? You talk about the "desktop" or the drawer? Because the Breeze drawer can't be organized as you wish (Go Launcher does) and the selection between the "desktop" pages isn't good in Breeze, you have to scroll every single page to reach the desired one...
