Chargers are just any generic micro USB chargers. Spare batteries on the other hand ...

Battery model number would be helpful. Huawei often use the same battery for different devices

I've tried a couple of cheap micro-USB car chargers and both seem to cause the battery to discharge rather than charge. Charge remaining percentage falls rapidly, e.g. from 45% to 15% in just a few minutes.
Anyone got one which definitely charges their g300?
I have a similar problem with a cheap mains charger, yet others can charge with that ok (mostly Blackberry handsets for them). The original charger and an old SF charger both work fine with the g300 so I've assumed it's down to voltage or current deficiencies but I've no idea.

I've been using thisone and it works really well. Low profile as well so fits nicely.

I've just found exactly the same thing. My phone was on 41% so I connected my car charger and then 10minutes later it was down to 24%. When I checked the phone status it said it was charging on AC.
Very strange as this is the same car charger I've been using for my Blade for the last 18 months with no problems.

I grabbed a dual USB charger from Asda recently, says i-box on it, £7, actually seems to charge the phone, or at worst maintain the charge with lots running.

Even using the supplied mains charger I have noticed the charge level indicated sometimes goes down substantially after I plug in the charger. I think this is a phone bug and the battery is not really discharging - a few minutes later it will jump back up by over 20% in one go. Just yesterday I plugged the mains charger in with the phone showing about 60% charge. A few minutes later I got the 29% charge warning. Two minutes later it was back at 64%.
I do have a USB car charger which I have had for a few years and it seems to charge the phone fine.

I don't think I've ever seen the behaviour from the mains charger, but I have had that charge recovery, rarely.
The sum of the problems with this phone sometimes has me regretting buying it...

At least for me, none of the annoying "quirks" come near to making me regret buying the phone. Glad I finally turned off the warning when switching from Wi-fi to mobile though. That was really driving me nuts until I edited build.prop
