Well I have a Chinese friend in school who has a brother which owns a phone case factory in china, I discussed the possibility of cases with him and his brother and they agreed as long as I either supply them with a phone or a model of the phone (which im gonna try get from vodafone :D for a £10 :P) I wanted to conduct a poll to see what people want. At first the prices might seem a bit expensive (like for the blade) because only a small quantity will be made roughly around £4-5 including delivery with a screen protector. So what do you guys think?

I reckon we will get these in about 1 month

What's wrong with a silicone case? It is easy to grip, it hides the phone (which in this case is rather ugly), and it protects very well. I dropped my Blade on concrete, and it survived. I know, it probably got in excess of 100g, but it is a light and yet surprisingly sturdy construction. Hard cases are not as good at absorbing energy, I think.

Silicone cases are very very flimsy. Most of the cases on the market sold as silicone are actually the TPU type as shown above. A lot more rigid but still flexible and shock resistant to a degree.

Well they attract dust and its hard to get out your pocket coz it gets sticky, tacky, they come off easily (which is an advantage to some) and I just dont like how they feel. I had a tpu case for my blade and that also withstood falling on concrete many times and I can honestly say that my black phone housing is in pristine condition (I changed the housing to white one in February 2012 because I like the glossy white) and ive had it since launch. Cant comment on rubberised cases.

Never had a problem with dust, and feeling is a matter of taste. But for looks I agree: TPU looks much better. I am certainly happy to give it a try.

Tried to buy case yesterday on eBay but only had pouches.

I want case that folds over with magnetic clip

I am assuming u mean a leather flip case? If so atm it will be limited to TPU and rubberised cases and maybe silicone assuming we get enough votes

Yes I do, absolutely none on eBay. Although the leather (faux leather) is unimportant to me. plastic would be fine.

Do you mean something like this? It just says Huawei phones but no model numbers and check measurements if any there. I can't, have to go to work now.

Best cases are the ones with a pull tab (leather) but fur type stuff inside.

I actually have one of these 'slip pouches' for my San Fran and though the SF has a nice non slip surface in the hand, it can easily slip out of this type of case if your not careful.

Now, I only use it as a screen protector whilst in my pocket as it wouldn't offer much protection in a fall.

I feel the Ascend is very slippery in the hand and would just shoot out of one of these slip cases.

You really need the type with a clasp over the open end to stop the phone sliding out inadvertently.

PS. Frankie, that looks like a very nice hard cover.

I like the Nillkin posted here

The fit of this brand is better than others, very precise moulding and the plastic they use seems to be better grade (tough and flexible) does not scratch the case and a close, firm fit.

I have a couple for my OSF1s and one for my Skate. Personal choice I know but this is a poll thread!
