Flashed sebastians unbranded rom to have a look and lost the Huawei splash image. I quite like it so can someone dump it and post it here? Thanks.

It's actually an ok splash image too it's not too ugly. I want it back but i should have know better!

Ah, I should probably of mentioned that in the notes...

I totally forgot to dump it myself before I started messing with it.

Interestingly enough in just about every other Huawei device I've come across the splash screen normally lives in the /cust partition..  thus allowing for each regional carrier to have their own... but none on this one..

unless someone else can dump it, we'll have to wait for an official update to get it back..

And what's wrong with BugDroid?

can it be copied out if the phone rom, like copy and paste?  if so I will upload it. where should I look. it will be named boot image correct?

boot animation zip and boot animation Ex zip under system/media ?

No it lives in the NVRAM, its a bit complicated.... tho you raise an interesting point, I could use the first frame from the bootanimation...

If you can find me a decent copy of it, I can make a splash screen replacement for it.

You did mention in notes that it overwrites the current splash i just thought i could easily find the old one in a rom dump...not that easy ha ha.
